Can you have a Reverse Surprise Party?

This is a REALLY bad photo, but if your eyesight is as bad as mine, you can't tell!
Dana & Cindy
The young ladies looking as cute as ever!
Diane and Susan.....total glitz!

Fabulous centerpiece made by Margaret
Dave and I figured out how to do this with only one call to Diane!
All set up and ready to go...

Yes you can! I was a hostess at the Cornerstone Women's Christmas Dinner & Concert. I invited 7 people and told them not to talk about it because I could only invite a few. Some of the ladies just went with it, others couldn't bear not knowing...very funny. But there was a big celebration as each lady arrived!

The food was fabulous and the concert was great!

Week 38

WOW! I can't believe my little girl's belly is so HUGE!

Meeting with the new doula

So I had to delete the photo......seems there were so many Google searches for "girl belly" and they were visiting this blog entry. Too gross for words.

Wills is at class so I got to take Jessica to her weekly (we're on weekly visits now) checkup with the midwife. This is about a 50 minute meeting and she answers any and all questions about the late stages of pregnancy and delivery. We met with the new doula since Diana has gone off to Africa to deliver babies now that she has completed her studies and internship.

Everything looks good and is moving right along. Baby Swenson is ready to go and is in place with its head down in the pelvic region. A couple of days later Jessica had her checkup at Kaiser and they said the same thing, in a much shorter visit. She's 50% effaced and zero dilated.

Tea Time

BINGO Winner! Still don't know what it is, I can't bear to open it since it looks so pretty.
Some how Margaret squeezed in 20+ ladies in her living room & dining room.
Each table had the tiered plates piled with tasty goodies. Plus the wonderful pumpkin soup and tea.

I met plenty of lovely Christian ladies, plus some that I already knew. We all had a great time and heard a powerful testimony.
