Ladies' Movie Night

A bunch of ladies had a movie night at Marla Hunken's home. We watched "While You Were Sleeping" which is one of my favorite movies. Every time I see it I like it even more. Plenty of snacks and chatting too.

This is Ezra on No Sleep

I grabbed this baby and sent Jessica to sleep. Ezra closed his eyes for about 20 minutes...but there was only about 10 minutes of wailing so I consider it a wonderful visit. It is a really good thing that he is so stinking cute. And when he smiles it just melts my heart. So I think I'll keep him.

Saturday Afternoon with Ezra

Do not be fooled by how cute Ezra is.......he can wail and shriek...for a REALLY long time. We still think he's cute, but can not wait for this phase to pass. As soon as his mom returned he was all smiles. He's 3 1/2 months old and may be a mama's boy.

Recovering After Trap Shooting

Dave and Wills spent some time at the Livermore Pleasanton Gun and Rod Club shooting shotguns. Then they retired to the patio to drink wine and smoke cigars. They were very happy men. The girls were out shopping with Ezra.

SHOPPING!

Anne holding with Ezra with Jessica nearby

Breakfast and then hours of shopping at the Scrapbook Expo. Does it get any better than this?

If there are no photos, did it really happen?

I wrecked the SL while parking it in the garage...but it's fixed now. Good thing my husband LOVES me :)

St. Paddy's Day?

So what, you thought this was going to be about us going out and drinking green beer? No way, that was our kids! We were home with Ezra!

Dave was alone with Ezra for about an hour, I was out having coffee with my friend, Cindy. When I arrived back home Dave was rocking the bassinet trying to get Ezra to sleep. He didn't look too happy when I arrived. I said "Ezra, go to sleep" and he went to sleep.....dumb luck. Dave got to relax for about an hour and then E was up and ready to rock and roll...or at least ready to eat.

So we tried the new larger bottle that Jessica left us, he loved it. But he wanted more than Jessica had left us. After about 20 minutes of trying to distract E from being hungry, we realized that we're the grandparents and we don't need to put up with this. So I texted Jessica to get her food source up here...NOW! She thought that was hilarious, but she did get up here and fed Ezra. All was well.

Oh, and we still think he's the best thing in the world. And what's really weird is he loves the "football hold".
