The house is really cleaned up and it felt, for the very first time that all these people (so many trades were working today) were wandering around in our home. We walked around the kitchen and talked about where we were going to put things. That's really odd because in our other homes we just put stuff away. When we moved in to our last home our nephew, Brandon, helped put things away and he was around 13! We never really moved anything after that.
I was so worried because the three light fixtures we purchased off the internet had issues. I am VERY happy to tell you that things are working out fantastically. I called and the most kind and considerate people helped me. If everything works out as promised we should be fine in 2 weeks. They say 1 week, so we double it to manage our expectations.
The garage doors are so awesome. Dave planned and managed this part of the job. They're going to put on another coat of stain, and then add the hardware. Dave likes to call the rings "knockers", his adolescent boy charm.
