We're really glad we went to istanbul, but we're not coming back. it's just not us. And now we know what it would be like to vacation in iraq! The people were very nice, and like Americans...or American money..who knows? There's just something wrong with women running around in Burquas (sp?)....no eye candy for the guys...well except for their wives.
Bad food, watery wine, dark and drab landscape...now let's move on to a positive....We love the ship, Windstar....not too many people, great accomodations, great food (and plenty of it...Spencer and Jon have their work cut out). We're at sea today...lounging around and reading our books....tomorrow we start our sightseeing on a tour in Ephesus.

Whatever happen to modesty being a virtue? I think it would be great that women aren't baring it all in public. I mean if the food, wine, loud prayers, etc are annoying that's one thing, but to add to the list that the women are covered...as if!
P.S. We stopped by Grandma's yesterday afternoon to say hi. We walked from Stanley to Golf...we borrowed the sub for the day...my car died & needs a new battery. I'll be biking it this week. :) Also, we LOVE the tub! Enjoy your travels as we enjoy ours. ;)
