Okay, you are not going to believe this, especially after the wettest week in Ireland history, but it is so hot here! First, everybody is wearing shorts and tank tops and the men are walking around with no shirts!
We checked in to our most favorite hotel, ever. This place is so cute....a boutique style hotel located in Kensington. Good beds, turn down service with chocolates (unheard of in most of our travels). We took off to find Harrod's, took a wrong turn and went out of our way by 2 miles (in the heat....did we tell you how hot it is here?), back tracked, found Harrod's, we were covered in sweat (we did tell you it was hot, right?), used the bathroom, figured out we can't afford anything (although Sabrina did look at a couple of MOTB dresses but Megan still hasn't picked out her colors), and then decided to go back to our hotel (we did tell you we love our hotel, right?) via taxi because the girls had headaches from heat stroke (because you know it is really hot here).
Came back to the hotel and had afternoon tea, showered and took a nap/read and then met at 7 for champagne to discuss our dinner plans. We ended up dining at this really cute restaurant just past the Ferrari and Maserati dealership. Edie didn't eat because she had a horrible headache from the heat (it was at least 85 degrees, but we are not wimps because we did just arrive from the wettest week in Ireland history).

oh...you are in LONDON! I heard it was hot there. If you aren't used to it, it can really get ya....things start to happen like headaches and lethargy,,,,,,

It is hot today here also. I was at stacks in campbell at 8am to meet a friend for breakfast....and then over to Linda's shop for a quick hello and then nails, grovery and 'the will"......didn't get home until 3! Now it is 4, Steve and carrie came and got the doggie...they are home safe and sound from Moorea! Had a great time and now my little KJ has gone home. He did really well with us, his allergies seem to be in check and he is on a strict diet....which we followed precisely,...
Hope you guys really are happy to be in the sunshine. Whew,.what a change huh? !

Oh come on, 85 is not that hot we've ridden in hotter. Well take it easy, drink lots of water and all that. Don't miss Tower of London, great tour. We'll be spending Donna's big day at the Happiest place on Earth. So see you when we all get back.
What whimps...85 degrees...come on...I guess you were already used to the rain and clouds! Sounds like you are really enjoying the last part of the trip!! Maybe you will come back with a sun tan!!

I LOVE boutique hotels! They are the best!! We made it safely home last night although we were 200 yards from a car engulfed in flames on the 5 in LA county. 3rd big car incident in a month!! Geez. No one was hurt though, thankfully..just overheated. W helped the guy phone family.
