Our Audience with the Pope
We walked to the Vatican to see the Pieta again, unbeknownst to us, our petition for an audience with the Pope was granted. Unfortunately the Pope invited thousands of others! We entered St. Peter's Square on a Wednesday around 11, and the Pope arrives in his G Series MBZ..not the Pope mobile. He was about 20 feet away from us and looked right at us. Then we heard Paul's letter to the church at Corinth in about 7 different languages. We didn't hang around for the whole thing....we exited to the souvenier shops. The guys tired after one, so they sat on a bench and smoked Cubanitos. Everyone was happy.

Ooooh, Cubanitos? Were they tasty?
How's the Pope these days? Is he still wearing those designer articles of clothing that he was getting from willing product-placers?
