We're all packed, passports copied, paperwork in order, and ready to go. We're beginning our adventure at 9 am when we are picked up by the Wolford Express (aka Diane) and dropped off at BART. The limo was $140 and BART is $20 and we didn't want to make anyone drive to SFO.
We have an 11 hour flight to Frankfurt, Germany then about 3 hours to Istanbul, Turkey. For your reference, Turkey is in the Eastern European time zone, or 10 hours ahead of California.
It's sad to leave our lovely home. We can see why Jesse & Lucille never wanted to wander afar. This is like a resort!
