Mountain View, Arkansas 2.0

This is the hottest day EVER! The bank sign had 108 and it wasn't even 11 am yet. I can barely walk from air conditioned store to air conditioned store. We bought umbrellas a couple of days ago, we call them hillbilly parasols.

The guys went out riding before 6 am. They took the camera and were instructed to take a photo of the liquor store where they were ending their ride.....which did not happen.....and it's really too bad because they had a story about the store. As they were leaving, the door opened all by itself, or so they thought....until they looked up and saw that the old guy had rigged up a set of belts and pulleys so all he had to do was pull a rope and the door opened. And about all the photos from the ride? Dave was so excited to show me the photos.....all TWO of them! He looked so surprised, he said..."I thought I took more than that"....how can you not know that you only took two photos?

The ladies went the one block to Main Street and had a manicure and massage and shopped.

Then around 1:30 we met up and went to the Soda Fountain for lunch and dessert.

Then we went back to the Inn for naps. We decided to get on the bikes to go to JoJo's, the catfish place. We had a window view of the river. We started out with hush puppies, this is deep fried corn bread, and then moved on to fried catfish (Scott had his grilled, after that big dessert) with beans, green pickled tomatoes, and baked potato (Dave had fries which he shared). We all had iced tea, we're still in a dry county, but Scott is the only one that has his sweetened.
After dinner Dave and I stopped at Wal-Mart.....what's a trip to this area without a trip to Wal-Mart? Dave picked up the second book in the Hunger Games series.

Here are the two photos that Dave took..........
The guys had breakfast at this 100+ year old cafe, they said it was delicious
